A great big thank you to all of the wonderful folks who came out on Sunday to help maintain and beautify our gardens! The Native garden was cut back and weeded, the Friendship garden had a major pulling out of our amazing and invasive mint plant, and the garden shed was cleaned out and organized! Not only that but the folks who came had a wonderful, genuine appreciation for the garden and an understanding of the importance of getting kids out to see where their food comes from. A wonderful morning. Big thanks to Margaret Chavigny, Jorgen Jensen, Ray Riga, Laurie Halliday, Kat Verani, Nina Senn, & Jill Broderick (for the coffee & scones).
